Indigenous Employment on MMTP

MMTP Project is divided into 2 sections, S1 and S2. Each section was awarded to 2 subcontractors for the construction of the project.

S1 was awarded to Muskeko Joint Venture, which is indigenous owned and S2 was awarded to Valard construction.

There is currently about 600 employees on the project and about 50% are Indigenous.

Details for the 500 kV line only:

- 799 hires, 46% indigenous

Entire project, lines and station work:

- 827 hires, 46% indigenous
